According the
a report on MSNBC which definately has its priorities straight with the news they
know people want to hear, a woman named Sharon Tendler married the "love of her life" whom she met 15 years ago.
In a modest ceremony at Dolphin Reef in the southern Israeli port of Eilat, Tendler, a 41-year-old British citizen, apparently became the world's first person to "marry" a dolphin.
I do hope they video taped the honeymoon. If you go to the link, you can see a video of the ceremony. She's in for a rough night according to
scientific research. My mind can't quite wrap around this subject. And it's not like she had a boyfriend during these 15 years of visiting the dolphin several times a year. Her reply to the question of past boyfriends, she replied soberly, "No. I'm going to end up with
Cindy."
"He will still play with all the other girls there," she said, of their prenuptial agreement. "I hope he has a lot of baby dolphins with the other dolphins. The more dolphins the better."
A Prenup? A lawyer actually took this?
While she still kept open the option of "marrying human" at some stage, she said for now she was strictly a "one-dolphin woman."
Ok, I give up. This is just what the world needs. Now we will be making bathrooms for dolphins ala South Park.
