Democratic Hypocrisy

Both democrats and republicans are guilty of partisan politics. I believe the difference is democrats will "play politics" even at the expense of the safety of all Americans.

For example, if the Clinton administration engaged in wire-taps on potential terrorists, he would be hailed for doing everything in his power to protect us, not crucified by democrats for supposedly trampling our civil liberties.

If you are not out to hurt our great nation then you have nothing to worry about! If you are checking out books at your local library on how to make a nuclear or chemical bomb, the authorities should know!

Here are a few quotes of democratic party leaders who have accused the Bush administration of lying to Americans about going to war in Iraq:

"Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime ... He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation ... And now he is miscalculating America's response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction ... So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real..."
- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Jan. 23. 2003 | Source

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program."
- President Bill Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998 | Source

"We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country."
- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002 | Source

"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction."
- Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002 | Source

"The last UN weapons inspectors left Iraq in October of 1998. We are confident that Saddam Hussein retains some stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons, and that he has since embarked on a crash course to build up his chemical and biological warfare capabilities. Intelligence reports indicate that he is seeking nuclear weapons..."
- Sen. Robert Byrd (D, WV), Oct. 3, 2002 | Source

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members ... It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."
- Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002 | Source

"We are in possession of what I think to be compelling evidence that Saddam Hussein has, and has had for a number of years, a developing capacity for the production and storage of weapons of mass destruction."
- Sen. Bob Graham (D, FL), Dec. 8, 2002 | Source

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."
- Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998 | Source

"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs." Letter to President Clinton.
- (D) Senators Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, others, Oct. 9, 1998 | Source

The list goes on and on.....Still think Bush Lied? I know it's crazy, but maybe he was just making the best decision for America based on the intelligence he and everyone else in Washington were looking at? Stop drinking the Kool-aid people.

RNC's 'White Flag' Ad Labels Anti-War Democrats

This article by Susan Jones originally appeared at CNS.com

"The Republican National Committee unveiled a new web ad Friday that says Democrats have a plan for Iraq - and that plan is "retreat and defeat."

The 60-second ad includes recent comments made by prominent Democrats, including Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean and Sens. Barbara Boxer (Calif.) and John Kerry (Mass.).

A white flag, symbolizing surrender, waves across each of their faces before they speak about the war.

Howard Dean says, "The idea that we're going to win this war is an idea that unfortunately is just plain wrong."

Barbara Boxer says, "So there's no specific timeframe but I would say the withdrawal ought to start now, right after the [Iraqi] elections December 15th."

And John Kerry says, "There is no reason, Bob [Schieffer], that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night terrorizing kids and children, you know, women."

The ad notes that "our country is at war" and that our soldiers and enemies are watching what Democrats say.

"Message to Democrats," the ad concludes: "Retreat and defeat is not an option."

The ad will be sent to supporters, grassroots activists and all GOP State Parties, the RNC said in a press release.

John Kerry has blasted Republicans, notably Rush Limbaugh, for interpreting his comment to mean that U.S. soldiers are terrorists.

Last month, Rep. Jack Murtha (D-Pa.) called for the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq, prompting President Bush to defend his war strategy in a number of speeches this month."

The democrats should be embarrassed by Leaders of their party. They have been on the wrong side of history on every major event including the fall of the former Soviet Union when they attacked Reagan as a war monger. Will they ever learn?

Opps, my bad ya'll!

Attention everyone! Mr. Captian Obvious, our President, has finally admitted what we have known since this shitstorm started!

"It is true that much of the intelligence turned out to be wrong," Bush said during his fourth and final speech before Thursday's vote for Iraq's parliament. "As president I am responsible for the decision to go into Iraq. And I'm also responsible for fixing what went wrong by reforming our intelligence capabilities. And we're doing just that."

"My decision to remove Saddam Hussein was the right decision," the president said. "Saddam was a threat and the American people, and the world is better off because he is no longer in power."
So in summery, "Yes we went in for one reason, stayed for another, and now I think I have completely justified this entire invasion. Thank you and goodnight suckers..."

Please for the love of God almighty watch this professional trainwreck dig himself into another hole:

Yessir I think I just might go and laugh myself to death. This only adds to the fire that has been building under this guy's ass for the past 2 years.

Of course, this is the time where all of the other lowlifes come out to play:

"We've got nation building by the U.S. military, and that's not a mission for the U.S. military," Murtha said. "I've said this over and over again: They're not good at nation building. You've given them a mission which they cannot carry out. They do the best they can, but they can't do it."
Thanks to some smooth talking by Mr. Murtha here, I'm sure he's won himself reelection next term.

"The president still has not stated how long his administration believes the (war) will take and how much it will cost in terms of funding and in terms of the commitment of American military and civilian personnel," Reed said.

Um, guys, I just wanted to let you know that the President still hasn't said anything about this... Just wanted to give you guys a heads up."

WOULD THESE PEOPLE GET THEIR HEADS OUT OF THEIR ASSES AND START COMING TO SOME REAL SOLUTIONS?
