Ugly Lady From the 80's Wants Attention

You may ask yourself, "Ugly lady that has no sense of time decides to write a book about something that everyone got over 2 days after it happened? Why the hell should I care about that?" CNN has the story:

Used from CNNLONDON, England (CNN) -- Long before anyone was called "the fifth Beatle," Cynthia Powell could rightfully have claimed the title for her own.

And now, more than 35 years after her painful divorce from John and 25 years after his death, Cynthia Lennon has published "John" -- a book she says needed to be written to erase the misconceptions left by other books about John, their 1962-1969 marriage and the Beatles.

"The only way you can get the truth is from the inside, not the outside," she said. "I feel the time is right."

Lennon -- speaking Wednesday at the Foreign Press Association in London --said she also wrote the book for their son, Julian, who she maintains has been "very scared by life."

"I was trying to give him some more of a sense of being John's son." Asked for Julian's reaction to the book, she replied: "I'm still waiting for it."

Well, just look at that picture! Who wouldn't care? I know for a fact that I am deeply in awe of this event that happened the year of my birth! I will always support someone who has the same sounding name as the father of communism. Ok, I can see where that may be sad for some people, namely stoners and retro old folks who populate most of the swinger clubs in America, but seriously didn't something else more tragic happen in the 1980's? Say perhaps, the loss of the 7 crew members of the space shuttle Challenger in 86? How about the U.S. funded military regimes and death squads in Central America, including the Contras in Nicaragua, who murdered over 30,000 Central Americans?

HELL NO!!!

We definitely should take our time and concern to worry about the wake of drugs and drama queens. In fact, isn't that what makes up our everyday concerns today? Middle aged women salivate at the thought of Jennifer Aniston taking a shit and having it appear in the next issue of US weekly!

Sigh...

What makes CNN think that they should even consider writing a story on this crap? Jesus, I got nothing left on this... Sounded like a good idea, but this is so lame I can't even think straight...
